Who We Are

An urban center for spiritual renewal and social justice

We gather in a historic Neo-Gothic building on Cass Avenue — a place of open doors and open minds. Our congregation is committed to the inherent worth of every person, freedom of spiritual inquiry, and justice in the world around us.

  • Principled Faith Our community is guided by the conviction that every person has inherent dignity, that free inquiry is sacred, and that faith calls us toward justice.

  • Deep Detroit Roots Our Neo-Gothic home on Cass Avenue sits at the heart of Detroit's Midtown, a welcoming gathering place where neighbors find spiritual life, connection, and a real sense of belonging.

Yes. Our building at 4605 Cass Avenue is wheelchair accessible. We are committed to making every part of our community welcoming to all bodies and abilities.
